How do I clean my loose cover?

Care instructions vary between fabrics, so please refer to our Sac Care section.

How do I clean my inner Sac?

The Sac inner contains the Fat Foam and cannot be removed so we recommend spot cleaning with a mild detergent and allow to dry naturally.

Can I get more foam for my Sac?

Our Sac's are full to the brim as standard, but like pasta, some like it soft others prefer a Fatsac slightly al dente. So we are happy to send you more foam free of charge and instructions on how to fill it.

Do you do any Fur covers?

We currently do not offer a fur range of covers. After sourcing several different types of Fur we decided none lived up to the Fatsac standard, most looked good but felt a bit sweaty (I wanted a better word there) after a while. They were all difficult to look after, even ones you could wash needed combing afterwards. At Fatsac we like to chill in our sac's not constantly worry about washing procedures.

Can my Sac be re-packed for easy transport?

Once a Sac has been released from in bag there's no way its going back in. But if you keep the inner poly bag it came in (or call us and we'll send you one) you can return it to the bag push the air out and tie the bag. This leaves you with a much more manageable sac.

Access to my flat is too small for a sofa, will I get a sac in?

Sac's are great because even a "Very Big" new sac will go places no sofa can go. It will fit through any normal door in its bag. Once released in your flat please refer to FAQ above.

Just how big are your Sacs?!

As you can imagine a fatsac isn't the easiest thing to measure accurately, just when you think you have it, someone jumps in and it changes shape again.

Our 4 sizes are designed to fit on a floor space of 3, 5, 6 and 8 foot in diameter.

For those of you than want something a little more accurate see the metric sizes below. These were taken after some flipping and with the Sac in its ready for action pose.

Depending on who falls into it, the height will obviously reduce and the diameter expands a bit.

“Cute” is about 1m diameter and 70cm high.

“Big” is about 1.25m diameter and 80cm high.

“Very Big” is about 1.5m diameter and 90cm high.

“That’s Big!” is about 2m diameter and 90cm high.

Can you make a cover in fabric I supply?

Yes we can! Get in touch and we will tell you how much fabric we require for your chosen size. You need to confirm the fabric is fire rated for UK domestic use. Your fabric supplier will be able to tell you. We have made Fatsac's from the Cath Kidston fabric range before, and they looked stunning.
